چکیده

Vertices of an affiliation network are linked to features and two vertices are declared adjacent whenever they share a common feature. We introduce a random intersection graph process aimed at modeling sparse evolving affiliation networks. We establish the asymptotic degree distribution and provide explicit asymptotic formulas for assortativity and clustering coefficients showing how these edge dependence characteristics vary over time. keywords: random graph process, random intersection graph, degree distribution, power law, clustering, assortativity 2000 Mathematics Subject Classifications: 05C80, 05C07, 05C82

SOME RESULTS ON THE COMPLEMENT OF THE INTERSECTION GRAPH OF SUBGROUPS OF A FINITE GROUP

Let G be a group. Recall that the intersection graph of subgroups of G is an undirected graph whose vertex set is the set of all nontrivial subgroups of G and distinct vertices H,K are joined by an edge in this graph if and only if the intersection of H and K is nontrivial. The aim of this article is to investigate the interplay between the group-theoretic properties of a finite group G and the...

Planarity of Intersection Graph of submodules of a Module

Let $R$ be a commutative ring with identity and $M$ be an unitary $R$-module. The intersection graph of an $R$-module $M$, denoted by $Gamma(M)$, is a simple graph whose vertices are all non-trivial submodules of $M$ and two distinct vertices $N_1$ and $N_2$ are adjacent if and only if $N_1cap N_2neq 0$. In this article, we investigate the concept of a planar intersection graph and maximal subm...

On k-Connectivity and Minimum Vertex Degree in Random s-Intersection Graphs

Random s-intersection graphs have recently received much interest in a wide range of application areas. Broadly speaking, a random s-intersection graph is constructed by first assigning each vertex a set of items in some random manner, and then putting an undirected edge between all pairs of vertices that share at least s items (the graph is called a random intersection graph when s = 1). A spe...

Applications of Random Intersection Graphs to Secure Sensor Networks – Connectivity Results

Random intersection graphs was introduced by SingerCohen [6]. These graphs have recently received considerable attention in the literature and been used in diverse applications [1,2,7–13]. In a general random intersection graph, each node is assigned a set of items in some random manner, and any two nodes establish an undirected edge in between if and only if they have at least a certain number...
